Dalton United's current training days are:
Due to weather and different demands at training we are currently changing our training on a regular basis. At the moment training occurs on a Tuesday at the club and Thursday at Dowdales outdoor facilities. Players are to meet at the venues listed for a 6:30pm start. The quality planned sessions are delivered by our clubs high standard coaching team and last for approximately 1h 30mins, finishing at 8:00pm

At Railway Meadow there is a Training Area to the side of the field that is used during the wet and wintery months to help save the field from cutting up and behind the goal there is a Shooting Area with full size goals where the players work on set pieces and finishing drills. If the weather and the field is ok the field is used to work on tactical sides to the game and allows the teams to work on areas that need developing.

To help the players train regularly throughout the season there are very few cancellations due to weather conditions with the excellent training facilities at Railway Meadow. The players train during the dark blustery months under some recently installed halogen flood lights that illuminate the training areas turning Railway Meadow into a Theatre of Dreams!!!!

If you are interested in training with us then get intouch with someone from the club or just turn up on a training night to speak to one of our coaching staff about further information. They will be happy to see you play and train with the lads and work to push other players out of the team. This is the drive the management want all their players to have during the season, it helps keep everyone on their toes week in week out to get the best performance out of the players and fight for that shirt.

If you are wanting somewhere to start playing again and fancy challenging yourself why dont you just come down and get involved. You will be made to feel at home by the players, club members and management.
